Polaroid dates back to 1930's with the creation of polarization lens technology. Building on success of the Polaroid instant camera, a line of sun and optical eyewear was developed with the same lens, and democratic approach to design and accessibility. Nowadays, Polaroid's iconic pixel logo, incorporating the colors of the rainbow, is synonymous with the brand. In an effort to preserve the Pixel as a key feature and a recognizable visual element we brought the shape into Polaroid eyewear advertising.
For the 2016 Optical campaign we created a layout that feels young and fresh and is eye catching and differentiating from competitive brands in store. We developed a concrete concept for our targets, featuring different facial expressions, that truly communicate the range of personalities and options of eyewear available.
